Author Visit & Literacy Night
On Thursday, March 5th, author and illustrator Lulu Delacre will be visiting The Creek for two school-wide assemblies. If you would like to pre-order any of her books, she will personalize and sign the books for delivery to The Creek. There will also be limited copies available for purchase that evening at Family Literacy Night.
Signed copies will be delivered to students on March 5th at school.
For upper grade students, she will be reading from Salsa Stories and speaking about how personal memories can be transformed into story. Younger students will be learning about the process for creating books and reading from her Rafi and Rosie series. That evening, she will be a featured speaker at Family Literacy Night where she will be presenting her book about the tropic cloud forest, Olinguito.
